The Power of Internet Images:

Based solely on the photographs she chose to post, I believe the image Jenny is trying to project could be: curious, interested, outgoing, artistic, and adventurous. I think she was successful because all of her images are very interesting and fun to look at. Looking at her images and her bio, I get the feeling that Jenny would be a good friend, mother, and wife. She says she is a "traveler, explorer, writer... chasing sunshine." This makes me think she is fun to be around and that she loves finding/learning new things.

Response to the Work by Gottfried Helnwein - (original):

"The Last Girl"

Now that I can see the whole image, my thoughts are completely different. I do not think this image was dramatically changed in photoshop... but, I can see lines going through the image, so I believe the image was printed to a very large scale so that it could be put onto the side of the building.

The title, "The Last Girl," and the girls facial expression, seems as if she is depressed. The image gives me an overall feeling of wonder. It makes me want to know why the girl seems depressed, and what made her that way.

Response to the Work by Gottfried Helnwein - (cropped):

This image, to me, looks like the man is working on the girls face. I believe this is an artistic image because it is very out-of-the-box and unique. If I had to assign a meaning to this image; it would be perfect imperfections. Also, it looks like the image was photoshopped... it looks like there were two different pictures put together to make one. The difference in scale between the man and the girls face helps with my interpretation of the image because it really makes it look like the man is fixing/changing something about the girls face.
